Choose if you'd like your shade's lift cord on the left or right side of the shade. If you're making a "matched pair" to cover a large window you'll probably wish to have the left shade with a left cord lift and the right shade with a right cord lift.
A unique pattern description makes it easy to distinguish between your patterns, especially if you're making more than one. For example, "Large den window" or "Flowered fabric in bedroom" allows you to avoid having to rely on the shade dimensions alone to distinguish between your patterns. Be creative, I love to read them!
