Debby,
I downloaded my pattern and have followed the measurements exactly, even added 1/2 inch to my shade fabric. For some reason, my shade is not quite wide enough. It's an inside mount, window is 63 1/2 and my shade is around 62 5/8 wide. Is there anyway I can fix this easily? I have not sewn on the tube tape yet but I do have it marked already. Not sure what I did, but I measured everything several times. This is my first attempt at making roman shades.

Thanks so much!

I don't think there is an easy solution to this. Sad

A couple things may have happened to cause the problem. The first one would be if you made a wider seam than 1/2 inch when you sewed the decorator fabric to the lining. The other thing that could have happened is that when you ironed the seams down the side and across the top (along maybe with the rest of the shade panel), the fabric you used shrunk from the heat of the iron.

Off the top of my head, the best thing I can come up with to fix it is to maybe add a border along each side?

If you would like to talk about with me, please give me a call.
