I am making a relaxed roman shade that will be 64 inches wide. I've never constructed one this wide. From reading previous posts, I know I will need to include a board at the bottom to keep it from drawing into the center. But, should I use just 2 cords, one on each edge, or because of the width, should I add 2 more, maybe 8-10 inches from each edge, for a total of 4. I'm also thinking about the weight of the shade and that it might need that extra support. What are your thoughts? Thanks for all your GREAT advice!

Hi Christine,
I have to admit I have never tried to make a relaxed roman shade quite that wide. If you put more than just the one cord on each side of the shade, I would be afraid you wouldn't get the "relaxed" look you want. _________________ Thanks,
