I am having a lot of difficulty getting the cords to go between the brass and plastic rollers on the locking pulley. There doesn't seem to be any way to move them apart to thread the cords.

Responding to question about threading cord through the cord lock. After spending 24 hours at mental health facility (just kidding) I pulled the wire guides out with needle nosed pliers, lined up all the cords and re-installed the guides. Takes a little patience to get them into the holes but when I do the second shade it should take only about 15 minutes as compared to the 2 hours today.
(Remember my order? I went to Mo every summer as a kid before I-70)

I'm sorry you had such a time threading your cordlock. Sad

The rollers inside the lock automatically separate when you hold the lock upside down.

I found it easy to thread the cordlock by using a curved upholstery needle and inserting it between the rollers. I did this after installing the cordlock on the mounting board.

Is there a particular size cord to be used with the lock? The cord does not seem to grab properly

You should be able to use anywhere between 0.9 MM and 1.8 MM. As long as the cords are all the same diameter, they should lock correctly.
